Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Garrett Park is seeking creative approaches to transform the space into a meaningful and useful asset for members of the public while adhering to the conditions of the Deed of Conservation Easement and being cognizant of the proximity of nearby residences. At a minimum, the Consultant shall: 1) Prepare a preliminary feasibility study/identification of potential park amenities considering the Deed of Conservation Easement restrictions, site conditions, regulatory and outside agency requirements, and other relevant factors. Meet with Town staff to obtain additional information as needed. 2) Working with Town staff, develop a survey instrument to obtain feedback from Garrett Park residents on potential park amenities. The Town has a paid SurveyMonkey subscription that may be utilized, or the Consultant can use its own platform. Town staff will assist in distributing the survey instrument via the Town website and community list servs. 3) Incorporating the community feedback regarding potential park amenities, prepare three (3) conceptual designs based on available funding that will provide a basis for discussion during the Mandatory Referral consultation with Montgomery County Planning Department staff. One (1) Mandatory Referral consultation meeting should be assumed for pricing purposes.
