The New Milford Department of Public Works routinely maintains, adds to, removes or alters its drainage infrastructure system. During this process it is necessary from time to time to seek outside licensed engineering services for tasks that include, but are not limited to: surveying, wetlands delineation, hydraulic data, storm water analysis, easement acquisitions, final design, and outside agency compliance (IWC, DEEP, etc). Engineering services required will be at varying levels and as needed per project, generally when IWC approvals are needed or easements are added or altered. Examples of projects to include single pipe replacement and diameter change, installation of new drainage system with easements, relocation of existing drainage easements on a parcel, headwall/endwall design on a single pipe or culvert and general survey work for small independent projects. Examples of services not included in this contract shall include, but not be limited to: bridge design, full length roadway design with or without drainage, and intersection re-design.
