Specifications include, but are not limited to: : The Springville west side hatchery is upgrading the effluent piping system to protect the hatchery from Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS). New piping and infrastructure will be installed between the hatchery building and Spring Creek. The project will consist of installing a concrete discharge structure along the east bank of Spring Creek, a flow meter, a concrete collection box, a pipe head structure, approximately 690 feet of piping, and an electronic snail barrier. The new piping will be connected to existing effluent piping from the hatchery building, existing tank and raceway piping, and the collection and discharge structures. Removal of two concrete junction boxes and asphalt pavement will also be part of the project. The hatchery will be in operation during construction. There will be minimal downtime allowed for tie-overs to maintain fish health. Biosecurity measures shall be taken during construction to protect the hatchery. This shall include, but not be limited to equipment disinfection and inspections, and approval of imported earthen material sources.
