Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 School safety tip lines are intended to give students, parents, staff, and other impacted stakeholders an effective and safe way to report unsafe situations and potential threats involving students or school safety. The safety tip line must operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week. 3.2 Students, staff, parents, and other impacted stakeholders can confidentially submit tips by phone, text, email, website, or mobile app. 3.3 The school safety tip line must be a fully hosted web-based solution that does not require the purchase, installation, or maintenance of any current or future hardware/software. 4.1 The system must allow access from any device with an internet connection and web browser. 4.2 The system must have the capability of receiving live calls or messages via text or email that can be forwarded to the appropriate District representative. 4.3 The system must have reporting capabilities. 4.4 The system shall have permission levels that allow administrators to set up user roles with varying levels of access. 4.5 The system shall have dashboard capability, ideally enabling it to easily accommodate customer-defined customizations to suit the needs of the District.
