Specifications include, but are not limited to: For the training and workforce assessments the Contractor shall: conduct a training assessment of current DIS training including: obtain the Department’s approval and implement a project work plan; utilize a learning management system and obtain the Department’s approval before all planning and implementation activities; plan, conduct, and analyze a training needs assessment; identify and complete a training plan based on results of the assessment; review the Department’s current DIS training, and develop new training standards, materials, and resources, including an online skills-building training for new DIS; and develop no less than two new training resources for seasoned DIS. attend all Department call meetings; and conduct a workplace assessment to identify and gather information on current DIS at local health departments including; job description; duties; skills; occupational attitudes; job satisfaction; and pay range.
