The City of Bend is soliciting proposals from Proposers (Contractors) to provide services including but not limited to: medical services for on-the-job injuries, annual physicals, vaccinations, screenings, drug and alcohol screenings, respirator clearance, fit testing, fitness for duty and return to work evaluations. Only proposals from Contractors with a brick-and- mortar facility will be accepted. Occupational medical services must be in accordance with regulatory standards such as, Occupational Safety & Heath Authority (OSHA), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), ODOT (Oregon Department of Transportation), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST). Proposers must use the regulatory requirements to govern annual physicals, vaccinations, and screenings, related recommendations, and specialized services. The City's occupational medicine program is designed to minimize liability for the City, ensure the proper placement of applicants and employees relative to their physical capabilities, and promote the health and wellbeing of employees.
